Overview
About Me
My name is Ella, I am a student currently based in Riga.
For the past 20 years I've been the 6 year old asking "why?".
I'm discovering that myself every day, but I do know that I'm honest, always speak my mind, modest and an adventurer. And sometimes I can even be funny (on rare occasions).
I love getting to know all sorts of people and widening my view of the world. There's just so much to see, feel, learn and experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently living in students dormitories in Riga, so I don't have the opportunity to host anyone just yet, but hopefully this will change soon. Meanwhile I'll be happy to show you around and give some advice, Riga is a city full of secrets, and I'm discovering more of it myself every day.
I'm on CS because I can never get enough of meeting different new people from around the world and mixing our views and experience up. Here in Riga I often volunteer to help Erasmus students around and this has become a hobby of mine. If you love long discussions about everything & nothing in particular, we'll bond well!

Music, Movies, and Books
Uncountable.
Right now:
> reading: latvian author's Imants Ziedonis "love letter" to a region of Latvia - "Kurzemīte". A story of getting lost with no intention to be found.
> listening to: I must admit I'm loving acoustic songs recently because I'm learning acoustic guitar myself and they're inspiring. But my music taste is basically an endless exploration.
> watching: last movie I loved was The Lobster. I enjoy all kinds of completely different movies - it's impossible to list them. I'm absolutely sure we'll find something to talk about in this field.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
working on it!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook some Latvian dishes (I'm not the best cook in the world tho), teach you some of our history, folk tales and traditions, talk loads about movies and literature from all over the world, share my adventure stories and listen to yours with my eyes shining in excitement. I'd love it if you could share even a tiny bit of your culture and way of life. If you could teach me to cook something, I'd be extremely thankful and happy!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have my experience and opinions always with me, so we can share and have a great time. :)
