ABOUT ME

I was born and raised on an organic dairy farm just outside of Exeter, Devon. After Sixth Form I took 2 years 'out' before moving to Bristol in Autumn 2010 to study Deaf Studies at Bristol Uni, where I've just graduated from. I had such a blast in Bristol for the 3 years I was there, but have now moved back to good ol' Exeter for a little while.

I'm told that I'm an open-minded, chilled and creative person. I can be a little quiet and I'm a good listener, but when you get me onto a topic I'm passionate about, I am able to hold my own and there may be no stopping me!

Through CS I've met some amazing people and have made some top-quality friends who I treasure. If you want to meet for a coffee/pint/walk around then just send me a message and we'll arrange to meet.

Walking/hiking/rambling, WWOOFing, camping, sleeping under the stars, bonfires, wild swimming, kayaking, sandcastles, eating from the wild, cooking and baking, cycling, dancing, knitting/crochet/Amigurumi (making very cute crochet toys), being creative with sewing or paints/things I find & glue, second hand clothes, dressing up, board/dice/card games, gardening, reading, languages and linguistics, yoga, singing (out of tune) and sign language and Deaf culture, djembé drumming, ukulele, chilling in the sun with cider and friends.

Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, George R.R. Martin, C.J. Samson, Roger Deakin, Stephen Chbosky, Margaret Atwood, James Herriot, Cormac McCarthy, and Tolkien. (and a little warning - I can be a Harry Potter geek from occasion to occasion!)

You can find good music under all genre labels, but I'm especially fond of Raggae and Ska, Folk/Acoustic, Electronic

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering with the charity "Sense" -Summer '09 where I was caring on a one-on-one with a disabled child for a week. The most intense, stressfull but incredibly rewarding thing ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to sew, how to make monsters out of old, holey socks, or simple knitting and crochet, and also some British Sign Language.

I also know a fair bit about cows if that sort of thing interests you!
