HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to the "couchsurfing" community but glad to be a part of it.
I am about to spend three months traveling through India, but when at home I am always up to take someone in when I can.

Interests

Give me a book and I will read it. Play me music and I will listen to it. Cook me food and I will eat it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I unexpectedly wound up in Europe, and visited Germany, France and Spain for the first time. I hitchhiked and caught trains from Berlin, down through France and across the north of Spain over the space of about five weeks. While in Spain I stayed in a place called Alquezar, a small, old and very beautiful town with views of some very spectacular mountains. One day we took a horse ride through the surrounding villages; we rode through a "one-man town" and then tied our horses up for a beer and some cheese in the "pueblo de queso". It was the closest I have ever come to a place left relatively untouched by modernity and development. I felt like I had traveled back in time.
