I'm Ella and I'm a hopeless travel bum. Whenever I have spare time and money, or even when I don't, I find myself on a plane heading somewhere new. I love reading, cooking, mountains and the sea. I study Marine Science and am passionate about sustainable development and the environment as well as cold beers and good food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like learning about a place through the people who know it, who have stories of their experiences there and know all sorts of fun sneaky spots. I love to build new relationships and make friends, you can learn so much from people who have travelled a different path to you and couchsurfing makes meeting interesting people so much easier.

Interests

I love the outdoors; walking, mediating, climbing, swimming, everything is better when its out under the sun and trees.
I like to read, I can spend hours with my head in a book.
Making friends, having a bit of a party, going on strange and unexpected adventures. Slacklining, rock climbing, diving. I'm interested in lots of things and always open to new things.

I don't watch a lot of movies but I have always loved Into the Wild.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The other day I rode a pushbike down from the highest road pass in the world (5600m) which was quite fun.

My main interest is the sea, and one of my favourites types of creatures in the sea are plankton so I can teach you a little about plankton!
I can share food, I love to cook and would love to make some tasty treats for my host.

The thing I would most like to share is new experiences that we can laugh about and tell as a crazy story later.
