ABOUT ME

After spending the evening talking to a friend who is from new Zealand I asked her what else she wished she had done with her time in the UK, her response was to have seen more of it.

She makes a good point, I have lived in the North of England for a year now and have seen very little of it despite having explored elsewhere pretty extensively

So now I want to change that, so here I am......tell me your favorite place up 't north , show me your town/ city/ village and then recomend the next place I head.

One word, AMAZING (apart from once but we are not talking about that and my faith in people is slowly being rebuilt)

I am very much a people person I find different cultures and their peoples fascinating. Food and the way people relate to it is my big interest, not to mention the oppertunity to try wonderful new things. I believe in trying and tasting everything once, this has led me down some very interesting and unexpected paths. I have a thirst for unusual and interesting knowledge and as such am pretty good at quiz night in the pub.
Other than that it is the usual I guess, reading, art (I have a soft spot for the classics especially those of the religious variety), history, and I quite enjoy a lie on the beach and a paddle in the sea!

So wide and vaired that i can not even start, some would say bad, some would say great; Electro Swing through Gospel Soul via Rod Stewart and the Cure and everything inbetween.
I will read pretty much anything.

Wow, I do not even know where to start.....
The staggeringly beautiful scenery of California that I was just not expecting.
Watching the blue moon set and the sun rise sat in the middle of the playa with a friend I have not seen for years
Riding with cowboys out across the pampas
There are so many more, and I don’t really feel that picking is fair to all of the other fabulous things that I have seen or done.
