It's been a while since my last couchsurfing experience. Working as a video editor and completing my BA in History and Filmmaking at Tel Aviv University has taken much of my time. But now I want to get back to it! As always, wherever I travel I love to meet the locals and learn and experience their culture and society.
I love hiking: I've trekked in Iceland, United Stated and various areas of Israel - my home country. When visiting a new city I walk around much, look for spectacular views, visit museums, religious sites, bars and clubs in the evenings and I love trying local foods!
Back home I enjoy chilling at the beach, working out in the gym, eating at different restaurants and having fun with friends in bars.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a fantastic platform to meet people from different countries. I love sightseeing and visiting the most popular areas in every place I visit, but with the company of a person who lives there It's much more fun and the experience is a lot more meaningful.

Interests

I work as a video editor. In the past few years I've edited some great films: "Atlantis Rising" - a documentary special for National Geographic, and "Biblical Conspiracies" - an investigative series for Discovery Science. I love what I do, I know much about filmmaking and aspire to grow as a writer and director from now. I go trekking whenever I can. I especially love the desert but will go to any place with spectacular open views.

Love the movies of Christopher Nolan, Stanley Kubrick, Roman Polanski, Quentin Tarantino, Miloš Forman, Francis Ford Coppola, Italian Neo-Realism, American 70's films, some French New Wave, Ingmar Bergman and Federico Fellini.
I enjoy many varieties of music, from classic to heavy metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While hiking with my friend in the Carmel mountains in Israel, we got lost and had to make our way back through unmarked areas, walking down steep hills, through thick and thorned bushes and navigating between the remains of charred trees in burnt patches of forest. We found our way out covered in black dirt and bleeding from cuts but felt very satisfied with the adventure we had!
Filming from a moving car in a rough neighborhood in Toulouse, France, and then being chase by two thugs on a motorcycle demanding the camera and probably planning on hurting us as well. Unable to stop us, they threw a rock while driving and shattered the car's back window.
