I have been living in Perth dreaming of travelling for much too long!! This year I finally decided to bite the bullet and have booked a one-way ticket to the UK and Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently able to meet travellers for a drink and show them around Perth, including the best beaches. When I return from travelling I anticipate being able to host surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had any couchsurfing experiences YET :) although I hope to have at least one during my travels of Europe.

Interests

I love the beach, here in Perth you can find me there every day in Summer. I also enjoy reading, especially autobiographies and going to the movies. Perth is quite boring with regards to nightlife and clubs, but I do often go down to the pub or house parties if theyre on - generally during the festive season. I also love 80's rock music especially KISS....i am also an avid animal lover and am inspired by nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

My fave movies (among a list of many) are Donnie Darko,Empire records, Priscilla Queen of the desert, American Psycho, as well as all 80's movies like Breakfast Club and 16 Candles. My fave recent movie is Grand tourino with Clint Eastwood.
I read quite alot, some of my favourites are Marching Powder, High Society by Ben Elton, The 19th Wife, My Sister's Keeper (Jodi Picoult), Breathe (Tim Winton), Paint it Black and Flowers in the Attic.
The music I enjoy most is 70's and 80's rock music, and classics. INXS, KISS, Talking Heads, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Joy Division, Prince, Simple Minds, Paul Kelly, Paul Simon, Van Morrison...and the list is endless!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a water spout (tornado)in the ocean on an amazing stormy day in Perth. These are incredibly rare in Perth and seeing this made me decide that I would like to travel to the America (torndao alley) and see the real thing...although from a distance.
