I am a Franch/English student currently living in England. I am in my final year of medical school and I hope to become a surgeon. I also volunteer teaching relationship and sex education and I’m extremely passionate about it.

I grew up in a small village in the south of France just outside Toulouse. My parents have hosted a number of couch-surfers and we used to travel a lot doing house swaps

I am a very curious and energetic person. I’m always looking for something new to get interested in and new people to befriend. I studied art during my gap year and art is still something I have a huge passion for. I also love music and have played the guitar for many years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am still relatively new to couch surfing but I grew up in a household where we put value on people rather than things. I am not here for a cheap night stay somewhere but rather to make interesting encounters and hopefully some new friends
I am currently a student so I live in a houseshare which makes hosting impossible but once I am a bit more settled I’d like to host as well

Interests

I play guitar and I love to paint
I teach sex Ed and so that is one area I am truly passionate about and I can talk about for hours. I’m hoping to specialise in sexual health and surgery once I qualify
I also love going to see exhibits or live music, interesting talks or plays depending on what’s on
I’m a very active person and I love climbing, hiking, snowboarding and yoga but I’m open to trying any other sport as well

Music, Movies, and Books

I like so many different kinds of music from Rock to Folk and Reggae.

My taste in movies is very eclectic and some of my favourites are Pulp Fiction, Garden State and Star Wars

I also read almost as much as Hermione Granger and I have become completely addicted to my kindle. Mostly sci-fi, fantasy, horror, lots of non fiction about science and humanity

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For a charity event organised by the medical school I hitchhiked from England to Prague and back again in a few days without spending any money.
I hiked up an active volcano in Guadeloupe and came canyoning back down again

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook a half decent vegan meal
I’m always interested in learning about other people’s cultures and countries
I can share nice times and travel stories until the sun comes up

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a happy easy going person and I love to share a relaxing time. I enjoy cooking and I am happy to contribute to any cleaning or chores that need to be done.
