About Me
*** I am getting a little bored of receiving copy and paste messages.... be original! I have included a clue somewhere in my profile if you are keen to meet me send that clue and I'll reply ***
CURRENT MISSION
To tick all the boxes on my never ending to do list....
ABOUT ME
I live in Urubamba, Cusco so if you are in the area and keen to meet up let me know.
I am very inquisitive, I love a good laugh, I enjoy being surrounded by great group of people eating, drinking and talking, I worship the sun, enjoy listening to salsa, I am currently studying Ayurveda so if you want to talk doshas and archetypes I'll be very impressed, I'm a crazy dog lady and nothing satisfies me more than leading a yoga class with an amazing group of people.
My goal is to become an Ayurvedic practitioner and lead women's circles.
PHILOSOPHY
Simplicity.... Somewhere over the South Pacific ocean on my way back from Buenos Aires I decided to keep a list of everything that made me happy to remind me of the multitude of joyous sensations there are to be found upon this earth according to me and it made me realise that they are simple things, here are some:
* Connecting with random people and learning something new
* Gentle forehead kisses and hugs from my grandparents in Cusco
* Laughing uncontrollably with friends
* The first smell of frangipanis and knowing that summer is on its way
* Hanging with dogs
* Getting a sudden burst of energy and not worrying about what people around me think (this is mostly done when I'm hanging with my niece)
* Smiling at a cute boy and he smiles back
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am keen to meet CS and show them around or take them to some of my favorite places in Urubamba/Cusco.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2009 I hosted many people and got a bit addicted to CS! I found myself daydreaming about travelling then I thought, ¨f**k it¨so I saved saved saved and in 2010 I took off for the best time of my life. My one year around the world turned into two. I saw amazing places, met really great people and ate my way through countries Vietnam, Morocco were the highlight after Peru of course because Peruvian food is just amazing. If you disagree don't contact me as I am like every other Peruvian out there, extremely proud and passionate about Peruvian food.
Interests
I am my happiest when travelling just the thought of discovering new places, meeting new people and sharing experiences makes me want to do it for ever.
I love photography and have enjoyed taking pictures from all over the world. Hopefully one day I can actually learn how to use the 3000 features on my DSLR.
I love Salsa which is another reason why I love South America!! Actually I love dancing in general stick me in the middle of Madagascar, Nepal, Panama etc with any tribe and I'm sure I would enjoy it.... except if you invite me to some electronic dance event you can be sure to find me in a corner looking very unimpressed.
When travelling I love going to local markets and sampling local food and just looking around. I love people watching because I find humans fascinating. Japan, Laos and India by far the best places to people watch.
My fave season is summer because I loooove the beach, ice cream and flip flops.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow so many obviously leaving everything behind and travelling .... ending up in a little Amazonian town in Peru and to my surprise our canoe was stolen so we had to chop down some balsa trees and cruise down Madre de Dios River and realising that piranhas were the last things we had to worry about... apparently candiru is much more severe.
Spending a decent amount of time in Laos and undertaking a volunteer position with an NGO. Laos is definitely one of my favorite places on my trip. I feel like I left a piece of my heart there.
Having Petra all to ourselves at night with a couple of beduins... scary but amazing at the same time.
Horseriding around Viñales, Cuba with one of the most amazing sunsets.
Staying in a palace in central Italy eating great food, good wine and great company.
Giving up a year of my life (20100 and finding my roots in Cusco and volunteering in an orphanage. To date one of the most fulfilling experiences.
Putting my life on hold for almost 2 years and travelling to 22 countries. Met amazing people, saw incredible places, was fined once in Croatia, found out why hanging near the river in Vientiane at night is dangerous when realizing that we had about 6 men with weapons surround us.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish and Cuban salsa.... I am crazy about learning French so if you have patience and time I would love to learn. I would love to share a meal with you because I love cooking and well eating!
