ABOUT ME

I like to spend time making things - from plays and poems to good soups and new friends. I study at university but do lots of other things too! I rent a nice big house with 4 lovely friends in very pretty area of Oxford. My friend across town often has couch surfers and I think it seems like a great idea. I've traveled quite a lot and lived in the Dominican Republic for 8months, and really enjoy meeting new and interesting people. I like hearing about exciting far off places, and enjoy exploring them even more! Always happy to show people the interesting secrets I love about this city - and can't wait to explore other places.

I have a couch to spare (a futon in fact) and would like to use other people's couches!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ah, loads. Always open to new things. Folk, soul, reggae, funk, jazz, dub, dubstep - something I can dance to or sing in the shower. I like films from the super artsy to the crappy obvious teen humour...like zoolander... And...my brain is inundated with 14th century fiction at the moment, but I can say that's certainly not my literature of choice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volcano erupting at night in Costa Rica - seeing how bright the lava was and realising quite how hot, big, powerful and amazingly cool the Earth really is.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have done TEFL and enjoy teaching English. I really want to improve my Spanish fluency - I was pretty good a couple of years ago and plan to find it again!
