About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel the world in 365 days and blog my experience like I am good at it. :)

ABOUT ME

I'm mostly all about work and that worries my boss. He thinks I couldn't spend any of my time-off right. By that, he meant I couldn't get my hands off work still even on vacation. Recently though, I am a changed woman. Now, I just wanna work hard, travel even harder. I go crazy over road trips, too!

PHILOSOPHY

In a nutshell, I roll with the golden rule. I treat everyone with respect as I want them to treat me the same way, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just recently got my own place with a nice-looking couch...and a spare room. My guests get to pick a spot. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this experience. When traveling, I usually stay with friends or relatives. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot all over the world. I'm not sure if this counts. I hosted a number of guests when they're in Manila. I got them hooked on roadtrips, too.

Interests

Other than traveling, I am interested in photography, culinary arts (I'm no Chef, mind you), and road trip. I don't think I'll ever get enough of these three.

Music, Movies, and Books

I rarely dig mushy love, chick flicks (maybe because I'm single and bitter), but I go crazy over action and suspense. My musical preference varies, depending on my mood. I can go from bosa to alternative rock anytime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a lot of beautiful places, but when it comes to something amazing I have done, nothing trumps the recent roadtrip experience I had with my best bud. She's a single mom of two. In my effort to help her provide her kids an amazing Lenten experience, we drove all the way to Ilocos Norte (about 600kms from our place) to visit churches. It was a long drive (13hrs one way). I was told no two crazy women have ever done that. Women roadtrippers would always get a professional driver to take them there. Well, not for us two.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are so many beautiful places in my country. Although I have not checked out all 7,100 islands, I have seen a huge chunk of it. I wanna share with people how this country became what it is now and why they should keep visiting through this experience. In so doing, I get to learn from them, too, about the country they originated.
