Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A local friend hosts couch surfers regularly and l have often been invited to join in for meals and chats. This has been a new concept to me and it has had a huge positive impact on me. l want to be part of the couch surfing culture both hosting and visiting.

Interests

I am not, nor have l ever been a party animal. A bonfire and a friend with a guitar is my kind of heaven. My interest include but are not limited to rock and roll, ballroom dancing, painting, sunsets, photography, travelling, people, cultures, good health, dining, food and wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music to my ears is the peace of nature. I like easy listening background music unless l'm on the dance floor, then rock and roll or a beat to waltz to is my favorite.
My current preference is to paint rather than read. I am half way through two books which are still sitting on my bedside table.
As far as movies go, I like comedy, love stories, adventure etc. Again, l would rather be wining and dining with friends, dancing or painting than sitting watching the screen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One, only one? Well at the top of the list would have to be giving birth. Nothing and l mean nothing can compare to the experience of the emergance of new life 💓💓💓

Jervis Bay is a beautiful, pristine part of Australia, of the world. I am happy to show it off because l love it and also because it's preservation requires recognition.

I love hearing of peoples cultures and experiences especially about food and family. I am always looking to learn new recipies and favorite places to see and go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am tidy, respectful, punctual and capable. I can cook or wash up (if you have gloves) and will follow your house rules.
While l am a good listener l can hold my own in a conversation.
