About Me
Hey! I'm currently a student at the University of Georgia and my friends and I love finding new places to go! Traveling has always been important to me, but with college, I've found I especially love meeting new people and going off the beaten track! I'm not fussy, but I can also appreciate the finer things in life. I live by the motto "have courage and be kind" so if you mesh with this, let me know and I'd love to meet up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and love meeting new people, this seems like the best of both worlds. I think traveling is nothing if you don't meet some friends along the way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to work with the Refugee Week festival in London where I was able to help facilitate lots of refugee women to get space for their performances and performance art. I got to be in the room for the inauguration of a piece by a woman who was a refugee from Syria who wrote a piece on her becoming and un-becoming English and Muslim. Working on that was really incredible because I got to help her voice be heard by people who would otherwise be prejudiced against a woman they saw wearing hijab or speaking a different language, and celebrate those differences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am semi-fluent in ASL, Spanish, and French. I also work as a tailor, so I can help you fix your threads, or help you find a BOMB outfit for any occasion. I work in the non-profit sector and am currently competing in a marketing competition for my college, so if you want info on how to help our your local community, I can help. I am also safe-space certified as well as first aid training so you don't have to worry about any harm around me, because I was taught how to fix harm both emotionally and physically. I specialize in community-based theatre, so I know lots of games and activities that help build trust and are also pretty fun. But my main goal is to get to know YOU. Why are you here? What made you move here or have you been here your whole life? What keeps you here? Let's grab a cola and talk about it! My objective in life is to be teachable, and I'd love to learn whatever you have to teach!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, clean, sew, take care of kids, and talk for HOURS. I've got tons of fun stories from living with very extroverted people and constantly traveling as a child. I can also do impressions and am pretty good at giving advice on girls.
