About Me
Hi! I’m a Waldorf/Steiner school educator, living on a small island in Washington state, US. I’m interested in sustainable living, and in doing and teaching hand crafting life skills such as knitting, designing and sewing one’s own clothes, and sheep-to-shawl wool processing (washing, carding, spinning, dyeing, knitting/weaving/felting). I love watercolor painting and singing with friends; my singing experience is mostly choral music but anything with harmonizing is fun! I’ve also done a lot of cycling, have awesome teenage kids, and like to cook with other people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently signing up because my daughter is embarking to go to college in Ireland and we will be there exploring together. I also have a pretty sweet location at home and am open to occasional visitors.

I can collaborate with cooking or do my own thing; I’m really good at tidying up; I’m a good, receptive listener and conversationalist; I can do some mending for you or possibly help with a craft or fix it project; I can do weeding and deadheading; I’m great with young children.
