My family walked the Camino de Santiago summer 2014 which made me more aware than ever before how much I love to travel and meet new, interesting people. I also loved the simplicity of living out of my pack for 40 days, staying in albergues, and thinking and planning for just the next 24 hours. It really puts you in touch with the things in life that really matter like people and relationships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Finding cheap lodging makes traveling more do-able and the US has not really caught on to that idea, providing hostels etc. i have empty rooms since two of my children are grown that sit empty most nights. Why not open them tomthose that are passing through...
