Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the instant, throw-you-into-the-mix opportunity it affords to meet (and bond with) all sorts of different people with diverse perspectives, wide-ranging experiences, and geographic locations. You rarely get that from a hotel stay. Plus, I love learning about the way people live in different cities, as well as meeting folks who have pets! LOVE pets.

Music: Mostly what's upbeat, catchy, melodious, and beautiful (which includes stuff from most genres), but especially Florence and the Machine, Sia, Gaga, Taylor Swift (yup), some EDM, lots of folk-rock, Celtic, and classical
Movies: Again, all the Harry Potters PLUS Fantastic Beasts, lots of period films, Happy Thank You More Please, The Intern, Enchanted April, Princess Bride, nature documentaries

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some places I've seen (the Aran Islands, Papeete in Tahiti) have left me agog at their sheer physical beauty, but my camera hasn't done them justice!
