About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just to have fun and get the most out of life! I enjoy meeting new people from other cultures, and this is a great way to do it without needing to leave your own city!

ABOUT ME

Adesso, studio a Bologna...che bellissima città :) Mi sono laureata in farmacia in Stati Uniti. Ho lavorato per due anni e adesso sto qua in Italia.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is meant to be filled with joy. I live my life to be happy. If I am moving about and not home, this means that I am somehow enriching my life and improving myself.

I think everyone on this site can say Carpe Diem to a certain extent. Why not explore the world and see what there is to offer? We only have one life...that we know about ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When visiting new places, I try to connect with couchsurfers beforehand. Unfortunately, when I went to Toronto, I was not able to actually meet up with my intended CS friend due to communication problems with my cellphone. I've also tried to connect with others in my home town, but my schedule was a bit hectic at the time.

I met up with other couch surfers in London and in Paris. I had originally booked the vacation with a tour group and some friends from America. My friends had no intention of meeting any locals…how sad! I met great people in both cities that enhanced my trip greatly. Have you seen the Eiffel Tower at night all lit up? I did :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I don't watch a ton of movies right now. Currently I am obsessed with watching Spanish telenovelas to practice Spanish. I am a Star Wars nerd.

Music: I'm going through a huge house phase right now. Anything that would be played at Ultra music festival, me gustan. I've been listening to Mord Fustang, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Feed Me, Deadmau5 just to name a few.

Books: I read mostly fashion magazines since I can read with brief breaks I have between patients.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing that I have done...I've done a few!
-I moved abroad and lived with my ex without knowing the language or having any friends.
-I finished a difficult degree in six years.
-I change lives on a daily basis by keeping people healthier.
-I've seen beautiful beaches in Italy where the water is so clear that you can see the fish swim past you.
-I've raged at Swedish House Mafia's final performance in Miami.
-I went to the largest gem show in the world in Tucson, AZ.
-I can speak 3 languages.
-I've done couchsurfing :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Special knowledge...hm...I can openly say from my life that I think it is important to be true to yourself. If you are in a relationship or a job that you are unhappy in or gives you grief everyday, well it may not be right for you. Ending that relationship or that situation may seem so hard. It may be a "bipolar" situation-sometimes it makes you so happy you can't imagine being happier, or it can create situations where you just cry and cry and can't figure out what happened. If you are in something like this, end it. I ended a situation like this for myself about a year ago. It was like a huge weight was lifted from me. I never looked back...
