ABOUT ME

Currently 4/6th of the way through a medical degree, will someday get to the end of it but in the mean time I plan to try and squeeze in every little experience possible during my time as a student which so far I have enjoyed immensely. I enjoy dabbling in almost any sport (squash is a current favourite) and I have a passion for swimming including teaching under 5's to swim. Above all I enjoy socialising in pretty much any capacity and I love a good laugh (even at my own expense).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet! Hoping to change that all very soon, as I have some grand plans for the coming year including a medical elective in Sweden, a weekend trip to Norway, hopefully Berlin for new year and last but not least a month in Samoa in the summer of 2015.

Interests

Swimming, trumpet playing/jazz music, hiking, wine enthusiast, sports (particularly football, rugby and basketball - could watch just about anything though) and socialising in any form, be it a coffee/hang out, bar hopping, clubbing or even playing squash.

Music, Movies, and Books

Something of an indecisive music listener, in the past year I have seen Of Monsters and Men, Disclosure, Bastille, City and Colour and Scott Bradlee and the Post Modern Jukebox live. Quite a mixture.

My absolute favourite movie is Little Miss Sunshine and current TV pleasures include Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad with my all time top favourite being Lost (despite its decline in later series!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cliché or not the great barrier reef and the pyramids (one of the wonders or the world for a reason).

I am a qualified swimming teacher so if you fancy brushing up on some swimming skills or learning for the first time I'd be happy to lend a hand!
