ABOUT ME
Almost done with my PhD in linguistics, looking for jobs all over the world, love videogames (currently addicted to Fallout 4), big fan of lucky charms and fleece blankets, reading the Harry Potter books in both Russian and Spanish to try to keep up my languages, usually also reading a murder mystery, almost always up for any ethnic food or good beer, definitely a meat eater... really just a small town girl living in a lonely world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It might not seem amazing to others, but I was pretty impressed with myself that I flew to Russia by myself. My plane out of Detroit was delayed, so I missed my Chicago connector, so I missed my Warsaw connector. So I was stuck for a night in Poland (thankfully with a dinner and hotel voucher), and I speak absolutely no Polish. Then when I got to St. Petersburg, they didn't have my luggage, so I had to borrow clothes for three days. Considering my debilitating fear of flying and the fact that I grew up in a town of 3,000 people, I was proud of myself that I didn't implode with anxiety on that trip.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook dinner, if you'd like. Not the best cook, but I'd say my chicken quesadillas are pretty rad. I can also teach you some swearwords in Russian (or other stuff, if you're interested). Realistically, the best thing I can offer is a few nights of good company and free drinks.
