ABOUT ME

I am a happy, optimistic, and laid-back person. I have loved meeting so many people on my travels and hope to continue doing so through couchsurfing!

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy. It can always be worse, so I remind myself to stay grateful for what I DO have. Have faith in others- it will give them faith in themselves. Be confident, be self-respecting. I treat others the way I want to be treated.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I stayed with two different hosts while I was in the Alsace region of France during a three month backpacking adventure. Once I am settled back home, I will be happy to either host or to meet up with travelers who want to see a more local take on Ottawa.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have loved both of my surfing experiences and plan to participate far more on my next trip. It is a far better way to meet locals and get to know the cool places in a city than staying in hostels. And don't worry about not meeting many people-- with both hosts, we went out with their friends each day (I even went to a choir practice!), so I ended up meeting almost as many people through couchsurfing as I did through hostelling.

兴趣

I love nothing more than observing everything around me... which often leads to 'deep' philosophical discussions, or a fun hypothetical scenario between my friends and I. I love listening to music, and it breaks my heart that I cannot make it myself (maybe you can teach me!). I love to draw, paint, play sports, and dance.
