Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See a bit of the world before heading back home for the real world.
ABOUT ME
I'm still trying to figure this one out myself, but in a few words - curious, intelligent (big call...), thoughtful, sarcastic. I love meeting new people, am passionate about sustainability and the environment, and love good food.
I finished my degree at the end of last year and am travelling with my love while he completes his PhD in Peace Studies. We lived in Belfast, Northern Ireland for a few months and now we're off to see, learn and do in Europe.
We both enjoy a good discussion - with or without good food, wine, beer, coffee, tea...
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life conscious of those around me. I hope to contribute something positive to others, the environment and my own experiences while having fun and learning new ways of thinking, seeing and doing things.
I'm all in - I like to get the job done, and done well, then have plenty of time after to chill out and share some laughs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now we're travelling around so we're just relying of welcoming, generous people to host us. That said, once we're established again in Australia we are looking forward to hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We are hoping our experiences with couchsurfing are like the first one - good conversation, comfortable, friendly and memorable. We are looking forward to new friends, new ways of doing things and new perspectives on life.
Paddy and I understand we're being very generously welcomed into someone's home for a stay, and I hope that we can repay that generosity with some good memories and respect.
We hope one day to be able to give back to the couchsurf community - when we're more settled!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll read anything - got to keep myself on my toes. Currently on an Australian fiction binge after reading an article where the girl took a literary tour through Melbourne. Including 'FLY', 'Monkey's Grip' and 'He Died With a Felafel in His Hand'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Set up, and then watched the Sydney New Year's Eve fireworks - from the top of the Harbour Bridge and got paid to do it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll never stop learning.
