Greetings! My name is Elle and I am an outdoor enthusiast with an itch to travel. I moved from New England to California six years ago and discovered real mountains. Here was a place I could feel equal parts adventure and the curious sensation of being at home. Since then I've been consumed with the idea of sustainable travel in order to enrich my life and see how other people live theirs.

I solo hiked half of the John Muir Trail as my first ever backpacking experience. First day- "what was I thinking??" Last day- "how do I stay outdoors forever?"

I also own a camper van that I converted for live-in purposes. It is a great adventure-mobile to road trip with!
