Hey there! My name is Elli, I´m 22 years old and right now studying in Copenhagen for one semester. (That´s the reason why I can´t host anyone at the moment.) Currently I am in my 7. semester of English and American studies and just as a little heads up: don´t even think about asking what I´m going to do with a degree in English ;)

A very good friend of mine once told me that if he ever was to do a stand-up comedy show, he´d definitely invite my there. Because no matter how bad his jokes are, he´d have at least one person laughing for sure. I guess, that´s one of the most accurate ways to describe me. I am a very happy, cheerful person, laughing about every little thing and it´s hard not to have a good time around me. And on the rare days I´m not looking too happy you can always cheer me up with amazing food or simply a glass of Rosé. (Only just realising how cliche that sounds. )
Although some people don´t believe that, I can also be quite serious and have in-depth conversations about basically every topic there is. And such conversations can go on for hours and hours because one of my special talents is to lose every sense of time during conversations, saying good bye way too many times and picking up the conversation time and time again. (But don´t worry, I get the hints showing when it´s time to end it)

Studying in Denmark for six months is giving me the chance to see a part of the world I´ve never been to before and I really want to make the best out of that. I´ve a lot of trips planned (mostly with my amazing friend Jo Ann) so if you want to be part of that experience, host me/us at your place and maybe even show some of your favorite places, I´d love to meet you!

(and I´m not going to mention photography because even though I love taking pictures and some turn out quite ok, I´m not really able to handle my way too big and way too fancy camera properly and most of the good pictures just happened out of sheer luck)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling - duuh, who doesn`t? - and don´t mind doing that on my own, but it´s always way more fun if shared with others. And what better way is there than getting to know a new city with the help of locals?
