About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To expand my comfort zone by pushing boundaries, saying yes to things that scare me, and leaning into the discomfort.

ABOUT ME

I'm a grad student at the University of Nevada, Reno. Ideally, I'll end up working in the spaces where public health and social justice intersect, with marginalized and medically underserved populations.
I'm queer, and my fiance and I are polyamorous. If you have an open mind about orientation, gender identity, and relationship styles, we'll probably get along just fine.

PHILOSOPHY

Compassion, gratitude, and vulnerability will get you far. Surround yourself with people who are more intelligent, and at least as passionate as you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I ever attended a birth, it changed me permanently. I still don't want kids of my own, but the process of ushering life into the world is the closest thing to a religious experience I've ever had. It is nothing short of divine, and to be allowed to participate in that process is the utmost privilege.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fairly handy in the kitchen, and I've been told I'm pretty calming and encouraging. I'm open to learning anything. I once heard, "the greatest journeys answer questions that, in the beginning, you didn't even think to ask." Who knows... Maybe we'll teach each other something we didn't even know we wanted to learn!

What I Can Share with Hosts

if you let me, I can cook you a damn good vegan feast!
