About Me
Hey Ellie here
I am for sure a high energy person who likes to assume the best in everyone. I get on well with new people and love a good laugh.
I grew up in a small town on the east coast of Australia and have to say its made me super grateful for all the new people I have met travelling and the different views, opinions, stories or fun facts it's exposed me to. I believe it only takes one person to make an experience memorable I know I have had some of the best times with people who were at first complete strangers, from discovering waterfalls in Croatia with my new bunk buddy or being invited to sit with a table of Aussies whilst in Prague it doesn't take much to create a really great memory.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently studying nursing and business in Sydney and have organised this coming semester as an exchange to study in the USA!
I am would love to host a few couch surfers before I leave as my sister and I will be road-tripping down the west coast of America and really want to connect with as many great people as possible from that part of the world and hosting is a great way to see how it's done!

Music, Movies, and Books
A few things I am into for a better picture of MEE:
- Music and I love a good festival I've been to a few most recently Groovin the moo, spilt milk, and mountain sounds. A few of my saved playlists include; The 1975's, The DMA'S, cub sport, Skeggs, jungle giants, ballpark music, san cisco and always up for a dance in the kitchen.
- I am a creative type and love a bit of a project maybe drawing or making something to hang on my walls, camping is also pretty neat too starting a fire or pitching a tent is a pretty solid achievement.
- I love taking Polaroid photos of any event or of my friends to hang on my wall and remember, they are my favourite possession.
- I really love being in the water, growing up on the coast means I swim as naturally as I walk also pretty good at holding my breath so we can challenge to that
- And of course FOOD I feel as though I was brought up to appreciate food as an experience, my family seemed to book a restaurant before booking a hotel and I've become the same finding amazing places to eat is something I love. I recently did a cooking class in Indonesian and now I wanna try a bit more of the cooking part of things
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
it's kind of hard to think of one experience to put as the most amazing thing I've done. Heaps of little experiences come to mind like travelling solo and going out to dinner by myself to filling whole days with things to do and finding new places and experiences and meeting new friends to share those times with I think the most amazing thing I've done is that I've travelled
Teach, Learn, Share
I am completely new to hosting ( or couch surfing for that matter) but I think I could offer a fun little Sydney experience for whoever is willing to let me try. The fact I am a student and also not originally from Sydney means I kinda feel like there is more of Sydney to see and share with you or I can always provide you with the students guide to the city
