Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I initially joined mainly out of curiosity, a chance to meet locals, previous great experience with WWOOFING and the fact I was travelling NZ and OZ on a shoestring. It turned out to be one of the best travelling decisions I could have made and have met some amazing people and have had some amazing experiences. I hope to return the favour next year when I move into my new flat - I miss backpackers!

Movies - My friends get annoyed at my lack of movie knowledge HOWEVER I can recite the entire first Harry Potter movie....
Music - Bob Dylan, the Arctic Monkeys, the Hives, the Kinks, the White Stripes (and anything Jack White has ever done... ever), Howling Wolf, The Zombies... And the soundtrack off Frozen of course

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, road tripping around Tasmania, seeing the Waitomo glow worm caves, bungee jumping (twice, and it didn't get easier!), whale watching in Kaikoura and up east coast OZ, heli-hiking down Franz Joseph glacier, spending a week with a family in a tipi community (thanks CS!), doing the great ocean road, attending a full moon party, getting a free helicopter ride posh food and drinks in exchange for being in a Fijian cruise brochure and visiting HOBBITON!!!
