Overview
About Me
Wanderlust hodophile. I love anything that entails exploring — whether that be through travel, food, languages, or the outdoors.
In terms of the outdoors, I like to do things like hiking, climbing, skiing, swimming — none of which I'm particularly good at, but I enjoy them nonetheless. I've also always wanted to get into mountaineering, so we'll see what comes of that. I also like relaxing in my hammock (which I, unfortunately, do not travel with). Once upon a time, I used to pair that with a book, but it's been a while.
I love our planet, and I ascribe to a minimalist environmentalist plant-based lifestyle to do my part in keeping it whole. If anyone has found a way to be plant-based AND plastic-free without living on a farm, let me know. I don't push my beliefs, and I strongly believe in leading by example.
All that said, I'm actually more of an outgoing introvert, so please don't be offended if I take some time to myself recharge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and genuinely getting to know my host culture. People can be so cool! I guess I'm hoping that will rub off on me luhlz. Staying with residents is the best way to get a local perspective and immerse myself in the culture and lifestyle of the country/region I am in.
I’ve really been into hobby batching, so I’m only looking to host native or near-native Spanish speakers to improve my Spanish. Let me know that you are a Spanish speaker when asking to stay with me. The expectation will be that we speak at least some Spanish together during your stay.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Afro-french music, konpa/zouk, Rara-tech, Amapiano
MOVIES: Historical and survival-type genres (think Colonial, Ancient China, Viking, Roman, Castaway/maroon, etc.) for both movies and shows. Though, I prefer movies to shows because there's less commitment, but the downside is I have to finish the story myself lol
BOOKS: School took away the joy of reading for me, but I'm trying to get back on it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving and bungee jumping! Looking forward to doing both again; bungee jumping hopefully in Macau!
