Hi there!

The travel bug first bit me when I was in high school as a part of an international handbell choir. We toured Eastern Europe every other summer, playing the bells everywhere from rural towns to federal prisons! As I'm sure you could have guessed, I am chalk full of wacky travel stories - and the handbell choir was only the start. Once I graduated, I moved to New York City for a year and enrolled in the Homeland Security program at a University over there. In August 2016, I had the opportunity to engage with the Peace and Conflict Research program at Uppsala University in Sweden. During this year-long exchange, I took advantage of the Swedish's flexible learning style and managed to travel a great deal of Europe (The parts of Europe my handbell choir didn't cover). I then spent the following year in NYC again and in July 2018, I jumped on over to Australia! I am traveling around this awesome country until my flight home on the 16th of January.

It's been a wild ride to 41 countries and I am still counting! Can't wait to keep adventuring :)

Couch surfing is an incredible platform to meet new, interesting people and share the stories we have all made along the way! There is nothing better than a local perspective and I love getting a glimpse.

Music - Will basically listen to anything, but my particular favs are Techno, Psytrance, little bit of Disco here and there, light and flowy EDM
Movies - Scary, action, dramatic, indie... I rarely say no to any kind of movie night.
Books - I love a good political commentary. Currently reading 'Who Rules the World' by Noam Chomsky.

In 2015, I left high school a bit early and moved to the Galapagos in order to volunteer on an agricultural development farm.
