About Me
Hey all! I'm 24, from Michigan, U.S. and I'm currently working and traveling in Australia. I'm really easy-going, and I value experience over any material possession I own.
I'm a trainer for an organization called Hero Town Geelong and we train everyday heroes. This means I teach people to act heroically on behalf of themselves and others by helping them build self-efficacy and overcome the forces of social norms that would cause them not to act. It's super cool! I get to wear superhero shirts and stuff.
Interests
I like to bike ride, hike, take walks, read, and have a good time with a smaller, low-key group of people. I can knit, ice skate, ski, ride horses, and other odd stuff. I want to learn how to juggle, unicycle and solve a rubix cube. I love, love, love reading and learning about heroes

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in my mom's van for two months and traveled around the States with my two best friends from high school. Super cool!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn more about Islamic faith and culture. Islamaphobia in the U.S. and around the world has really shown me how important knowledge is to eliminate hate and fear. I want to commit myself to learning about people who are different than me, starting with the one-billion Muslims on this earth - the LARGE majority of whom are peaceful and wonderful people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't have much to share! :) But one message I try to send in our hero training is how to live in harmony with other people. And I make a deep commitment to practice what I preach each and every day. That being said - I promise to be very respectful, nonintrusive, and to not use your shampoo ;) I will share with you what I know and where I've been and hopefully you can learn a bit from my experiences and vice versa! xx
