Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now I'm looking for some places to stay in Amsterdam while I look for a room. Once it's done I'd love to host some travellers as a way to get to know people from around the world...well, if I don't find myself in a broom closet somewhere :P. I've got so many friends who've told me cool stories about their Couchsurfing experiences and I've always meant to try, so here goes...

- I know a lot about herbs, perks of growing up with a hippie herbalist mum, harvesting them, cooking with wild ingredients, making herbal teas, aromatherapy, DIY beauty recipes, etc...
- I love to cook. Lately I've been getting into vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free cooking/baking but I also love the regular sugary baking stuff. I especially love Thai cuisine and am on a perpetual quest to make the perfect cinnamon buns.
So it would be my pleasure to cook for you in exchange for your hospitality.
- If you want to learn French, I can talk with you and teach you weird insults ;P
