I am a 25 year old country girl from Scotland. I work in a primary school and have been studying part time towards a degree in Childhood Studies. I’m cheerful, friendly, outgoing and laid-back. I’m open-minded, but I love a good debate. I have a good sense of humour and don’t take life to seriously.

This year I’m planning my first solo travel. Seeing areas from a locals perspective seems a good way to get a feel for an area and meet like-minded people with stories to share.
I'd also enjoy hosting people, as I'm happy to show people around my little corner of Scotland. There are a few hidden gems around me, but you'd never find them unless you were with a local.

Soaking in a beautiful scenic view, probably mountains or beaches.
I'm creative; I love taking photos, drawing pictures, up-cycling, DIY and making things.
I’m a big nature and animal lover, except spiders.
In cities I like to explore museums, art galleries and go to the theatre whenever possible!
I’m not sporty, but I do enjoy badminton.
I love food, both a good homemade meal and a fancy restaurant. And everything in-between.
Also being Scottish, it goes without saying I enjoy a good drink too!

From painting to politics, I'm eager to learn anything and everything. I don't have a problem showing complete and utter ignorance on a subject, so I always ask questions and will take in as much as I can.
I don't have anything specific to teach, but I love sharing stories and silly little facts with people.

My company of course! I’m quite happy to show people around the area when I’m not working or studying. I live in a quiet farming area, but it has its own beauty and some lovely walks and gardens. This is an ideal place for those heading to/from Ireland on the ferry.
Plus full kitchen, food, bathroom, sleeping bag/duvet and towels.
