COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ran into a lovely gentleman at a train station in Mumbai. Had no place to go and he invited me to come couch surf with him. Spent all night talking to his Dutch host about Latin American Film. What a fabulous community.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent 3 and a half years living and working as a Peace Corps Volunteer in The Gambia, West Africa. I was so humbled by the need to learn all over again how to speak, eat, dress, bathe. You never realize how specific your knowledge is to your own culture until you have to start from scratch.
