About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Digging out!

ABOUT ME

I love music. I used to have old drum kit sitting in the corner and I loved initiating self-proclaimed "non-musicians" It would take a few minutes and some patience, but without fail they would get the hang of it and be beating out simple rhythms and not wanting to stop. It works on lots of instruments, but the drums were fun...

PHILOSOPHY

Be grateful to everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a huge advocate of the project and spread the word as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few favorites: I stayed with a group of Peruvians living in Barcelona for about 10 days. We cooked lentils and pepper sandwiches and sold beer on the streets at night. They came and stayed with me in Rome for a while as well....
Coming back from Mexico my German friend Luke and I picked up a fellow hitch-hiker trying to get back to the states. The 3 of us camped in my van on this freezing cold night in an orchard. We built a fire, drank tea, and took turns telling stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

My latest read is a book called "Stiff" by Mary Roach. You'll just have to check it out... bizarre....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I let a drunk redneck named Tequila Sheila dye my hair at midnight in the middle-of-nowhere Mississippi. It was my first and only hair-dying experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

What a great section. Things I could teach - knitting, Italian, making bread, guitar and banjo. Things I'd like to learn - Capoeira, Spanish, actually anything you can throw down! Things we could share - playing music (ALL levels welcome!), throwing frisbee.....
