About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I love getting to know more about people - with new ideas, from other towns, areas, countries - and learning from them! And quite simply - having a good time together, enjoy the sun, nature, life outdoors...
ABOUT ME
I enjoy discovering: new people; cultures... I see new contacts and friends as the way to enrichen daily and holiday life! Hope to meet you, be it here in Goettingen or out in the world...
PHILOSOPHY
Try to make the best of every minute...no matter how it is!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If you come to Goettingen and I have time I would be happy to host you and spend time with you!
Apart from that., I'd like to travel myself, get to know new people and add a plus to their and my life in this way...I really like the possibilities couch surfing offers to get to know people and find people to show you around - that helped me so much in Madagascar!
I also enjoy participating in the different groups couchsurfing offers and in the meetings - great, interesting people!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of my most amazing experiences was being hosted by Farshid in Azerbaidschan. We learnt so much from him, about Azerbaidschan, Iran and a whole new world! But also the people I hosted often contributed to my daily life in a very positive way, bringing the air of the world with them - so nice!
Interests
I like to act - in my theatre group and above all, as a clown! I also enjoy juggling, cooking, swimming and nature - or sharing a bottle of wine, a dance, a good concert...but also a serious discussion; be it on global warming; development aid or other issues..

Music, Movies, and Books
I just read Khaled Hosseini, And the mountains echoed, again - I love his books and the way he introduces us to Afgahnistan's history and culture.
Where France is concerned, I really loved Izzo's trilogy about Marseille!! The city is described in them so well.
And then, turning to Cote d'Ivoire, even though I haven't been there, the "Aya" BDs are amazing - have you read them? You should!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Participating and teaming cycling alternatives: Cycling through Germany and Poland with a group of 30 people from Germany, Poland and Tschec Republic: as a rolling seminar, discussing and visiting alternative projects, exchanging and being motivated by the others enthusiasm! It was so amazing to cycle as a big group, to meet all the people within the group as well as from the projects we visited along the way!
Teach, Learn, Share
When I have time, I sometimes get to do intercultural trainings for school groups or others. Especially with the methods of interactive learning...A very interesting field. Another topic I concentrate on is global learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would also enjoy playing frisbee or a German card game with you; chat about the world with a good wine, cook for or with you - and I am always interested in learning some (easy) songs on the guitar. Or maybe I can teach you the basics of juggling?
