Hello! My name is Elliot and my number one rule is trying not to take life too seriously, unless of course there’s a very good reason to take life seriously, such as when you run out of tea or discover that the earth is indeed flat.

My greatest passion is travelling because there’s so much to see, learn and experience! New potential connections, fantastic food, exchanging tastes in music and of course visiting stunning places. It’s literally the greatest thing you can do on this planet, and seeing as how I’m stuck here for a while, I’d quite like to make the best of it and enjoy all of life’s wonders and the friends I meet along the way.

I am on couchsurfing because I am an avid traveller and a full-time open minded individual and for me, travelling is all about meeting and understanding new people. There is no better platform to facilitate this than Couchsurfing, whether it’s by hosting travellers when I can, staying with beautiful hosts who open up their homes and minds or just going for a drink at a hangout!

Modern day society and the constant news cycle may make it seem that humanity has lost its touch with one another and with the very earth we live on. However it only takes a Couchsurfing experience for one to realise that humanity is very much alive. I’m truly grateful to have been born in this period in time when platforms like Couchsurfing can put you in touch with thousands of likeminded individuals, as it is often that these individuals can teach you a thing or two about the wonders of life.
