I'm a fairly recent college grad and looking to do as much traveling now as possible. I love traveling and meeting new people! Always planning my next trip and if I'm going to go somewhere I prefer to stay with people who live there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my experience, you can learn the most by staying with someone who lives in the city you're in. I'll be doing some solo traveling this summer and would like to stay in the city with a local and get to understand the city from their perspective. I enjoy traveling alone so do not feel like you need to join me or take me out -- as long as I have a safe, clean place to stay I will be very happy :)

Interests

I love to get outside as much as possible. An ideal day would be hanging outside with some friends, listening to some music, dancing and grilling up some good food. Lets see, I'm also a big soccer and baseball fan, love going to hear music (especially something with a lot of bass!), and having a beer or a local drink.

Authors: I'm particularly fond of Neil Gaiman, Kazuo Ishiguru, Jhumpa Lahiri, Oscar Wilde, Vonnegut, Kafka and George Saunders.

Music: Currently listening to Taylor Swift, Chvrches, Tame Impala, and almost anything featured in the BBC Live Lounge.

Movies: All time favorite movie has to be Zoolander! Anything with Owen Wilson and/or Ben Stiller is gonna be ok in my book

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently hiked up to a 14k ft pass in the Himalayas with my dad and Sappu and Jandil, our guides/drinking companions.
