ABOUT ME
Hey there,
My name is Elliot and I am currently traveling to learn about social relationships, and community interaction.
I am currently in Berkely exploring music possibilities!
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy could be summed up in this phrase.
"try or not life happens."
I have found this to be true for even when I fully apply myself, life happens, if I kick back and relax life happens, sometimes when I put a bunch of effort into making something happen it doesn't, or something better happens, and that's okay.
The big thing that has really helped me a long in this journey is realizing that life always changes, so there may be trials and tribulations, but they are always guaranteed to pass, and in my life they always have.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of the funnest couch surfing experiences that I had was staying on a couch of a man named Rex Wang when I went to visit Canada, he was just such a nice guy and even made my friend and I a tiny breakfast in the morning. So that was sweet. He let us stay a couple nights, then he liked us so he decided to let us stay another 2 nights. So that was cool.~
I also stayed at a place called Pals Clubhouse, I am not sure if they host surfers anymore, but they are a couch surfing house, so I believe that counts, they are on the website. I had a really great time staying there too, they really liked me so instead of just staying for 4-5 days, they let me stay for a month and a half. They liked that I was always available to help, and if I had the resources to go get them small grocery items like when we ran out of peanut butter and things like that. It was pretty crazy too since there were about ten people living there, but we all got along just fine. All in all it was very fun.
Interests
I like to play music (not really the loud obnoxious kind), read, ride my bike around town, hang out with people I've never met, get to know the friends that I have more, help out with whatever they might need if I can, go to the park, contemplate the vastness of life, find ways to be of service, learn about new things.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have read lots of books of all different subject matter and authors, lately I do not read as much as just listen, listen to what other people have to share with me, I find that when I open up, they feel more comfortable and there is growth that happens on both sides, but if you must know my favorite books are:
Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy
The Hobbit
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living on the island of Kaua'i has got to be in the top 3, but falling 17 feet in Maui is up there too. I wouldn't necessarily call it amazing but it was certainly a life changing experience, and I probably wouldn't have lived on the Big Island for a year and half if it didn't happen.
Visiting Victoria Canada was pretty neat too, and although I can't say I have been to very many other countries I have spent quite a bit of time far away from home, and it really changed my life, I believe for the good. Happiness growth is now what matters most to me!
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach guitar lessons, but not classical just whatever someone would think they might want to learn, I am not a metal head so I can't teach you how to shred, you'll have to learn that from someone.
Sometimes I spontaneously teach people about the values of mindfulness and forgiveness, but I do not ever force anyone to listen to spiritual talk, it comes up naturally.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with you a listening ear, an honest heart, a creative soul. I also play music, and love to just hang out, quality time is one of my favorite things. I would love to hear your awesome stories too!!
I'm sure there is even more that I can share with you but I'm just not quite sure what else at the moment.
