I work as Team Leader for a Youth Program in an remote Aboriginal community 3 hrs West of Alice Springs. Was able to get 7.5 months away so going to be traveling around U.S and Europe for a while :)
Recently finished my Masters degree in International Community Development.
I’m into a bunch of different stuff but I guess the constants have been traveling, skating, doing stick and poke tattoos on myself and my friends, bit of partying etc.

Surfing and hosting :)

Have surfed and hosted quite a bit. In this time I have made life long friends. We often forget that this is how we met.
Couchsurfing has changed a lot since 2011 when I started as the website has grown so much. It is naturally harder to get hosted and there are probably more people using it with questionable motives. To get a host it seems one has to fight to prove their uniqueness and genuineness. In some ways this is against the ideas that caught my interest in the first place. It is also incompatible with a life on the road. I think most people who have sat in McDonalds rinsing the free wifi with all their bags will understand.
I’m still hopeful and want to keep meeting good ppl on here. I still believe couchsurfing should be about connecting people who might not usually have connected.

Bit of every thing but soft spot for folky singer songwritery music.
I like reading non-fiction but again, bit of everything. I really like George Orwell, particularly “Down and out in Paris and London”.

Rode from Munich to Split with my brother wild camping/sleeping rough along the way.
Climbed Mount Toubkal in Morocco.
Lived on a small tropical Island in Cambodia working for NGO Friends of Koh Rong providing education for the Youth.
