About Me

I'm an artist living in Chester, New York, and working as an au pair during the year of 2017. I enjoy drawing, reading and playing videogames in my free time, and I love traveling and getting lost in new places whenever I can. My favorite places to go during trips are local cafés and restaurants, natural and amusement parks, natural and art museums, and local landmarks.

I AM A COUCHSURFER GUEST. I'm currently living with a host family in my au pair program, so I'm unable to host any surfers atm. This will unfortunately not change for a while, even though I am very interested in hosting guests.

I use they/theirs and he/his pronouns.
I am shy at first but I'm extremely outgoing once we chat for some time.
I don't follow any specific diet but I'm always open to eating different dishes.
I enjoy drinking casually but I will not mind being unable to drink at all.
I'm very interested in learning new recipes if you could ever teach me! I also know some dishes and drinks from Brazil, and I'm more than willing to share those!
I'm mostly a casual traveler and I'd love to share my experiences with and hearing stories from people from all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm working as an au pair, my income doesn't allow me to pay for a hotel room, or even a hostel or Airbnb, and since my free time is little, it's a waste to spend money on places I'll barely enjoy and that won't add to my life experiences or travels. I'd prefer to spend my nights in new places with people that can teach me more about the place I'm traveling to, people that can show me or tell me about local spots that tour guides couldn't take me to. I think Couchsurfing could not only add to my travel experience, but being based on mutual trust and mutual help, it'd be an enrichment experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived for 4 months in New Zealand when I was 17-18 years old. I bungee jumped, met Hobbiton and the Weta Cave, studied with amazing teachers and got lost in cities I've never seen before. It was a wonderful experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I've mentioned before, I'm an artist, and I'd love to share my art as a thank you to the hosts who would share their home with me. Not only that, I can share my travel experiences and my knowledge in the places I've lived or been to.
