ABOUT ME

I suppose I should begin by saying I want to meet you! Whoever you are I want to see your story and catch a glimpse of your life.
As for myself, I'm a (currently) travelling Aussie who is impassioned by music, culture, food and thinking about things. I love language and all arty things, but also trying to understand how things work and how we are here.
Currently wandering about Europe while the time is right, hopefully you and I will meet- either via your couch or otherwise!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Harper Lee, John Steinbeck, Marcel Pagnol, Markus Zusak, George Orwell, and a number of things I haven't read yet.
Movies: All sorts. Only the good ones, I don't care if they're funny of serious. Also, Monty Python.
Music: Ooh big list. I'll forget someone important but Regina Spektor, Paul Simon, Jeff Buckley, Cat Empire, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Megan Washington, Frank Sinatra, Django Reinhardt, ELO, Eva Cassidy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a child I saw so many amazing things being a nomad, travelling with my parents.
More recently I was in India for the Kite-flying festival. That blew me away.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you most any music either practically or theoretically. Particularly useful when it comes to ukulele and singing.
Ummm English. I have a good grasp on that. French, pretty good grasp too, so I can help there.
I'm a good cook/baker, and can give you all my secrets;

I want to learn it all. Languages, skills, talents. Whatever you have I'll take!
