ABOUT ME

I am passionate about food, I love cooking, and it is slowly taking over my whole life. I enjoy finding little back alley places to eat where the food is great and cheap. I like to read, draw, and I play guitar sometimes.

PHILOSOPHY

Every day better.
You can laugh or you can cry.
Life! Live it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mostly surfed, though I would love to host more. Being hosted by some amazing and gracious people has convinced me to try my hand at it too. So far I've hosted once, and it was a really great experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My brother introduced me to couchsurfing when he found a couch for us in Krakow, Poland. It was a great experience, so I decided to surf again. I cycled (and took the train sometimes :)) from Copenhagen to Paris and surfed almost the whole way. So many good experiences with wonderful hosts. After that, I surfed with my brother around Normandy and Brittany, and it was wonderful. The couchsurfing continues...

Interests

I like food, books, especially books about food, music, especially guitar music, and I enjoy art in all it's forms. I enjoy the outdoors, and always look for ways that I can DO something.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all music, but I love the blues, classical, and jazz. Any live music is great!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studying in Florence, Italy was an amazing experience. The best part was a meal which I enjoyed with my brother and many of our friends. We had a complete meal with multiple courses and wine and everything. It was one of the best food experiences I have had.
Also, cycling across Northern Europe was an incredible journey.
The most amazing thing I've ever done was a chance encounter in the Musee d'Orsay in Paris.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone to cook. I can teach basic guitar skills. I always want to learn more about food, anything related to it. I also want to learn to speak Spanish.

Countries I’ve Visited
