Overview
About Me
Exciting news! I've finally stepped out of my comfort zone and moved from Beijing, where I spent five fantastic years, to the bustling city of Shanghai!!
Just moved to Shanghai, so I'm still getting my bearings here. If you're hoping to stay with an experienced local who knows all the ins and outs, I'm afraid you might have to skip my profile for now.....
For the time being, I can only host for a max of 2-3 nights... and tbh, I'm pretty swamped these days, so I'm worried I won't have much time to show you around or spend time with you, so, I hope you're the kind of explorer who's good at planning your own adventures ;)

Heyyy It's Elliot, born and raised in Chongqing China.
I'm open-minded, easygoing, and patient. I love to make new friends and develop good friendships with any race, ethnicity background gender that is welcoming, honest, and creative keen to share ideas and experiences. I like to find humour in everything and try to get the best out of life every single day.
Meeting hosting and surfing people from around the globe is my real dream. I love traveling and knowing about and observing new places, people, cultures, ways of life, nature, and diversity and cooking local food and enjoy with my guest (SPICY FOOD FOR SURE HAHAHA).
It's my pleasure to show you around the city and explain the culture of Chongqing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First got introduced to this community whilst looking for a exciting way to travel round The Philippines and have since used it throughout most South Asia part and even at home in Chongqing.
Since it was the first time, it gave me one of my most intriguing experience in knowing people from different countries in hostels, being in a new place doing new activities, gaining new perspectives of understanding what I was taught to believe in versus what I want to do in life. It was a paradigm shift for me. Now instead of saying I travel to gain a new perspective, I would say that traveling allows me to challenge my perception of things and gives me the chance to understand the perspectives of others and mold them together to be a more collective, well-rounded one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-The best days of my life was at the July-Aug of 2018. It was actually my first time to Europe and what made it so amazing was how many new people I connected with. I guess my personality worked its magic in showing the love for life I have inside. It's amazing have so many new friends from all over the world. Tears of happiness, I had plenty of those that days
-Also!! I went to Tomorrowland 2018 in Barcelone!!!
