About Me

Born and raised in New York City, I've been living in Seattle, Washington for the last few years. Besides those two cities where I have lived permanently, I have worked for a startup company in Buenos Aires, Argentina and a film company in Santiago, Chile, as well as working for a music festival in Seattle called the Capitol Hill Block Party. I have huge passions for hiking, traveling, and experiencing places I have never been before. I also have a big connection to music, as I produce my own music, play the cello, and sing professionally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Spent the last three months studying in Greece, traveling the Balkans during my time off. Now that that has ended, I'm making my way north through Europe, starting from Istanbul and ending in Oslo. On my way, I'm planning on visiting countless countries I've never been before and meeting amazing people as I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music from indie to rap to electronic. Some of my favorite artists are LCD Soundsystem, Todd Terje and the Olsens, the Grateful Dead, Kendrick Lamar, Run the Jewels, Nicolas Jaar, Anderson Paak, the Black Keys, Caribou, Chromeo, A Tribe Called Quest, Flume, and Father John Misty.

As for movies, I am currently in love with Stanley Kubrick's movies so 2001: A Space Odessy is my current favorite film but I'm also a huge Wes Anderson fan, so movies like the Grand Budapest Hotel and Moonrise kingdom are other favorite of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled over train, plane, and ferry to to Paris a couple months ago just to attend a Todd Terje concert, one of my favorite musicians (and Norwegian). My friends and I spend the day walking more than 35 km around Paris without a place to sleep, but still had one of the best days of our lives.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been making music electronically for a while now, so I am able to teach a good amount of that to anyone who is interested. I can also teach English, as that is my first language I am also pretty fluent in Spanish so I can teach that as well.

I am always interested in learning about the history, culture, and language of the places I visit. My ears are always open to new knowledge about the countries I am traveling through.
