I grew up on a sunny island called Singapore. After 3 years of film school and 1 year of working in a film company, I decided to pack my bags and move to London. It was a bold move but probably one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. They say you're only a total of your decisions, right?

I'm a very active individual and enjoy novel experiences. I'm always enthusiastic about trying new things. In high school, I joined the scuba diving club and in university I was made society secretary of the surf club.

After graduating from university, I realised how much I loved travelling and meeting people. Therefore, I decided to take a year out and move to Japan. As cliche as it may be, I do believe that life is a journey and human beings are a work in process. I'm still slowly trying to remind myself of that everyday and Japan has been the perfect place in learning more about myself.

I love meeting people from different cultures, which is why I've moved to live in Tokyo teaching English. I'm so grateful for this experience as I've since got the chance to interact with people from all over the world.
