I am a Junior at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. I will be taking a semester away from Florida to study at European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. I love traveling and meeting new people. I am conversationally capable in Spanish and I hope to learn enough German to be passable. I will have a very small room where I am living in Germany. However, when I return to Jacksonville this summer I will be happy to host travelers in sunny Florida.

I am excited to be living and traveling abroad and I hope to meet many people who share my enthusiasm for experiencing new cultures. I love getting insight into foreign cultures and practicing my Spanish with natives. I hope to travel extensively during my study in Germany and it would be great to get to know a few people from the area.

兴趣

I love reading, as I am an International Business and English double major. I like to hike and run. I can sail and I really enjoy spending time on the water. When I am in the US I drive a manual transmission so I am "gear-shift fluent" if anyone needs help in that area. Otherwise I love the outdoors and experiencing new things.

I am open to any kind of music. I read all the time (English major). My favorite book is "The Count of Monte Cristo." I also really enjoyed the "Master and Commander" series. I have read all of Hemingway's books and I really enjoy his writing style. "Bright Lights Big City" by Jay Mcinerny was my high school favorite. I am into most movies though I don't like horror films very much. My favorite movie is Master and Commander.

I am well organized and clean. I tend to pack light when I travel and I do everything I can to leave places nicer than I found them. I am capable of cleaning, lifting heavy objects, and various other creative tasks you may need help with.
