ABOUT ME
I'm an 8th generation Seattleite. I love this city and love sharing it with others. I work as a bridge operator for the city of Seattle. When I'm not working I teach sailing (been teaching for 15 years), race sailboats, and work as a delivery captain. I love cooking, cycling, brewing beer, and playing music.

My personal philosophy is constantly changing and being updated. In short, I like to believe in the goodness of humankind and will always approach someone with open arms and an open mind. I find that bringing joy to others will always make me happy and I strive to improve the lives of those around us as well as my own.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting people, although life has been quite busy recently so I haven't been able to host as many as I would like. I am always willing to take CS people out sailing or show them my favorite spots around the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was with this kid named Sherman who's from Hong Kong. He was amazing. He'd never been on a sailboat before and I took him out on a really windy day on a high speed racing catamaran and he was a little scared at first but loved it. I felt really happy that I was able to share that part of my life with someone.
