Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My passion for traveling, I probably inherited from my grandfather, who was an avid naturalist, photographer and traveler, and he traveled the world. I always looked forward to his coming home and listening his incredible adventures experienced on his travels which were sometimes almost hard to believe. I could not wait to finally pack up my backpack and walk on the same path in search of adventure and discovery. My first trip was eight years ago, when I went on my own to Japan and since then my passion for traveling is getting bigger and bigger.
I began to travel during my student years, so I had deep pockets and not lot of money for traveling. This reason brought me to CS. I tried it for the first time and then I was amazed how CS great is, not for a reason to save money, but for many others:
- see the country from the completely different view than a normal tourist do
- the most amazing people who I´ve met are from CS. Some of them became my really good friends and we´re still in touch
- thanks to CS I improve my english and frech a lot
- you never get bored, there re so many events in CS. This saved me when I came to Paris for working internship and I had no friends there. Thanks to CS I integrated quite quickly and found new friends.

But the most important thing is that people form CS are simply amazing! The first good point is that most of CSurfers are on the same wave, ready to speak, share, enrich each other and have FUN! The most people I´ve met thanks to CS are super interesting, travell the world, have great jobs and this motivates me a lot.
I think that people from CS should make their own state. It would be AMAZING!
One day I´ll make trip around the worlds using only CS. Can´t wait for it!

Interests

I have many different interests, which are changing according to place, people and situations.
It´s no suprise that I love travelling and things connected with that: meeting new people, get know a foreign culture, see nature and historical sights, adventure, learn something new and chilling on the beach with a good book is not bad also:).
I´m passionate about cooking and food in generall. I like to eat well and healthy using local foodstuff and recipes. When I´m travelling, I´m trying to learn from locals about their national cuisine and good recipes keep with me. So quite often you can find me during weekends in the kitchen, cooking a menu for several person and sometimes it´s a big challenge!:)
My other interests is nature. Whenever I can I spend my free time in nature, because it gives me great income of energy and good feelings. I just take my dog and make a big walk in the forests or make some outdoor activities like a cross country skiing, snowboarding, hiking, running,cycling or just lie down in the grass and relaxing. I´m also interested in a herbal medicine and during season I´m picking herbs with my grandpa, who is expert in that. And I like going mushrooming! It´s a kind of national hobby in Czech republic:)
With nature is also connected my interest in aquaristik. My grandpa settled a company with aquarium plants and I grow up in enviroment filled of plants, fishes, glasshouses and water. My family is also running a petshop based mainly in aquaristik and I was working there for long time. It was a great job and now I can catch the smallest fish in a record time:)!
I like sports in generall but let´s say I like wellness lifestyle. That means I eat well (I´m drinking the green shakes, eating biofood, natural supplements,drinking herbal teas and this stuff:))), make some exercises (cycling, joga,running, walking...), mediations, sauna, massage and all the good things which make me feel better.
Culture. I´m a curios person, and books, art, photography, theatre, music teach me and enrich my life a lot. I was a type of small child who red everything. When I was 14 years old my favourite author was E.Zola. This maybe marked me for the rest of my life:))). I´m reading a lot, I´m trying to understand art and go to some exbitions often. But like Andy Warhol said that if you want to tell a good painting from a bad one, first look at a thousand paintings. So I have a lot of work in front of me:). I like to take a photographs and I´m still learning how to make the good one. But mostly is only about to capture the good feeling, moments, emotions and be in the field.
What else...I like to learn and explore. I need to keep my brain busy and have the feeling I´m working on me. Right now I´m learning french and I can say, that my brain suffers:) But no pain, no game. I like to look around me, speak with people and learn from it. Let´s say I´m like a big sponge:). I like watching documentaries, studying and reading specialized publications and discuss about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost every kind of music except of techno and country. My taste of music is changing quickly, but I prefer female singers and melancholic, little bit depressive music in generall. Some of them: Lana del Ray,Zaz,Adele,Alicia keys,Norah Jones, Nina Simon, Aretha Franklin. And right now I´m listening new album of Asah Avidan, love it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach czech, but for this we need some years:))
I can teach something about auqascaping, how to design really nice aqaurium, how to take care about it and about aquaristik in generall.
I know several things about health, herbs and diet, so if you want to be healthier or thiner, I´m a suitable person to give you some good advices.

I would like to learn playing guitar or piano.
I would like to learn Italian, Spanish and Russian language.
I would like to learn how to make french patisserie
and many other things:))
