I am an 22 year old woman from Ireland currently traveling and looking to experience other cultures. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and am interested in animals, charitable work, environmental issues, art, history and literature. I speak fluent English and some basic German but would love to be exposed to other languages and learn more in an immersive environment.

I am currently traveling around Europe and am volunteering using the website workaway, however between workaways I will be travelling and would like to use couchsurfing. It gives me an opportunity to see what it is like to live in these places, away from the tourist areas which can be quite artificial. It would also be nice to meet locals and maybe spend time with them getting to know the place I'm staying.

I am interested in history, literature and philosophy and spent time studying these subjects in college. I am also interested in politics and try to keep up to date on current affairs. I care about the environment and climate change. I listen to a vast range of music and enjoy anything, from what is in the charts and the newest releases, to rock and even some country.

I listen to a lot of music and some of my favourites include Tom Odell, Amy Winehouse, Hole and Blink 182. I enjoy most films but I prefer dramas and sci fi, I particularly like Betty Blue, Star Wars and films by Lars von Trier. I read a lot and enjoy books by authors such as Stephen King and George Orwell, and one of my favourites is Lucky by Alice Sebold.

I've worked on an organic fruit farm on the Hardangerfjord in Norway, but I hope to do more amazing things like this in the future. :)
