In love with photography; the arts; color green; music of all sorts; multiculturalism and travelling; mother nature; psychology and human sciences; philosophy; animals of all shapes and sizes (proud owner of 8 dogs, though not at my place of residence - fear not); history; mythology; and so, so much more.

I am a psychology student and like to think of myself as a good friend to everyone.
An open-minded individual with more hobbies than she can handle.
I'm scatterbrained yet attentive.
In love with every religion known to mankind.
Nurturing a fondness for cherry trees and Eastern culture.
I dream of waking up a Native American one of these days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Little to none, though I wish to change that. Friends with many who host and surf, and I'll be looking to update my own CouchSurfing portfolio this summer.

Interests

First and foremost - photography. (That one crazed person with a camera always clicking away as though in fear of missing out on a moment - that could be me; most of the time it is me.) Very lens-shy when in front of a lens. I love photography much more than it loves me. I'm an enthusiastic amateur with tons of ideas and crappy executions thereof. But I never stop trying.

So much interests me, really. I'll try everything at least once. Try me. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts!

For whatever reason, my attention span doesn't allow me to watch movies too frequently or in too big a "portion".
Nevertheless I do, sporadically, and among my favorites are such movies as "Donnie Darko", "American Beauty", "The Hours", "Sybil", "The Village", "Phantom of the Opera", "Harry Potter", "Silence of the Lambs", "Dreams" (Akira Kurosawa), "Lord of the Rings", et cetera.

As for music, I prefer certain types but enjoy everything. And music helps shape my reality.
You'll easily catch me playing Nightwish, Florence and the Machine, Bat for Lashes, Within Temptation, Tom Waits, Vaya Con Dios, HIM, Paramore, Sting, Hans Zimmer, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Laura Jansen, Paula Cole, Enya, Evanescence, Lana Del Rey, Carla Bruni, Charles Aznavour, Alanis Morisette, The Pretty Reckless, Alexz Johnson, and many, many more.

Books are my personal daily dose of escapism. Possibly essential for my sanity.
I always go back to "Acerca de Roderer", "Lolita", "Sophie's World", "Letters to a Young Poet", "Les Fleurs du Mal", "The Parrot's Theorem", "Alice In Wonderland", "Harry Potter", the whole Agatha Christie, "Siddhartha", "Jelena, Zena Koje Nema", "Thus Spake Zarathustra"...
