About Me
OBS: I am only able to host one person at the time - most preferably people my peers. All other enquiries (including copy-paste requests) will be declined.
My name is Elly and I'm a 25-year-old Danish/Filipino student living in Copenhagen. I live about 5 km from the city centre, which is a bike-ride of 20 minutes or a 30 minutes bus ride from the Copenhagen main station.
I like to see myself as an easy laugh and pretty easy going. I'm very curious, talk a lot and tend to be very personal very quickly. I'm generally interested in knowing more about the people I meet, so if I ask you a lot of questions; this is most definitely why. I don't take things too seriously. I might grunt when laughing too hard and I'm not afraid to make a fool out of myself. However, I can still be pretty low key when I sit myself down with DIY home-projects, when I paint with acrylics, drink ice coffee or watch TV.
Other than that, I love to be adventurous; trying new tasty foods, latenight biketrips and doing something I've never tried before. An experience that changed my life in particular, was traveling around the world for 4 months with 25 girls. I learned so much from traveling as a (girl)group and how to handle different situations when things don't go as planned. I got to see 7 amazing parts of the world, that blew my mind in different ways. I can't wait to tell you about it and also hear about your travel experiences as well. It's a huge plus if you can teach me something new :-)
Right now I am a student while working in Nordea. When I'm not working or studying, I'll be able to host you . As much as I would love to hang out with you all the time - the two things might get in the way of it - but fear not... Feel free to explore Copenhagen while I'm doing my thing :)
Things you should know: I have had bed bugs before, which was a (very) unpleasant experience. Prior to arriving, I therefore kindly ask you to go over your belongs and seams in your luggage to check that no unwanted guests enter my apartment with you. Thanks in advance <3 <3.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always loved traveling, meeting new people and exploring unknown places. Unfortunately my student budget only allows me to enjoy homemade iced coffee on top of a small hill and biking through the streets of Copenhagen.
Even though I don't get to travel much at the moment, couch surfing gives me a great opportunity to keep my traveller mind alive and learn about different cultures.
